    moving mailboxes between Primary Volumes

    hi,

    I need to reclaim some space that is currently used by some mailboxes in default storage.

    I imported about 15 accounts before creating a new volume and now I want to move that 15 accounts to free disk space on old volume.

    do I need to export and reimport? is there any official procedure for that operation?

    Hello Muzzol!

    If you want to move ALL data from the old store to the new one you can use the "doVolumeToVolumeMove" ZxPowerstore CLI command. It moves all BLOBs from a volume to another thus emptying the old volume and allowing you to delete it.

    The command's syntax is:
    Code:
    zxsuite powerstore doVolumeToVolumeMove {source_volume_name} {destination_volume_name}

    PARAMETER LIST

    NAME                          TYPE
    source_volume_name(M)         String
    destination_volume_name(M)    String

    (M) == mandatory parameter, (O) == optional parameter
    To find out the volume names use the "zxsuite powerstore getAllVolumes" command.

    Yes (bash interprets it as two separate arguments), you should enter any name with spaces between quotes...

    I've installed your version and execution was fine!

    thanks for that.

    anyway, after completion, not all mails were gone, I can see that that there's some remaining dirs in old location:

    ok, everytime I run it there's less space occupied on source volume, but it never move it completely.

    I've run it 4 times and now there's 270m still remaining.

    is this normal?

    what kind of errors should I see in mailbox.log?
