outlook 2013 active sync - zxmobile functionality

    Hi all

I have installed a multi node environment with zextras 1.8.9 for testing purposes and I noticed that:

    1. while I'm trying to compose a new email on outlook 2013 (using active sync), I can not search the global address book.
Also, when I choose the TO button I can see only the personal address book.

    2. on outlook 2013 while I'm trying to create a new appointment I can not find any of the Locations that I have configured on zimbra web interface.

I would like to know if the above functionalities are supported or both of 1 and 2 are limitations of Outlook 2013's active sync.

    Regards,
    George

    Hello George,
    welcome to the forums!

Global Address List access through EAS is currently not supported by Outlook. The only way to access the GAL is to set up an "Internet Directory Service (LDAP)" address book and configure Outlook to directly access Zimbra's LDAP, which is something I strongly advice against.
For this very reason, you are not able to find Resources and Locations since there is no GAL to search, but manually entering the location's email address should do the trick (I haven't personally tested this as it's not strictly related to ZeXtras Suite).
