    Android constantly re-downloads inbox?

    Guys,

I'm testing Zextras to see if it's worth purchasing. I installed it with this Zimbra edition:

    Release 8.0.4.GA.5737.UBUNTU12.64 UBUNTU12_64 FOSS edition

However, after adding it on Android as a Corporate account, it seems to continue to re-download the inbox everytime I try to sync. I've also tried it with VMWare Horizon native android zimbra client, and while it seems to do a little better it often exhibits the same issue. Is this a known problem? Any suggestions how to fix? I *really* want Zextras to work and am very willing to pay if it does.

    Thanks!

Hello jbwiv and welcome to the forum.

We'll do what we can to help you with your issue.

In order to do that, as our Community Manager Cine is fond of saying , we'll need to know the informations listed in the "THE GOLDEN RULE" and "ZXMOBILE" sections of the "announcement" thread "IMPORTANT: How to report a ZeXtras Suite issue".

So follow those instructions and we'll seek out where the issue lies.

Sorry about that. Here you go:

    zimbra@mail:~$ zxsuite core getversion

    zextras_version 1.8.8
    zextras_target 8.0.4
    zextras_commit af88e9473475d06d420e88866a73625195ba6268
    zextras_lib_version 1.0.0
    zextras_lib_commit d2a14843b8809ea13451a01ed9c60e70b4029e43

    zimbra@mail:~$ uname -a
    Linux mail 3.5.0-34-generic #55~precise1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jun 7 16:25:50 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
    zimbra@mail:~$ cat /etc/issue
    Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS \n \l

There is only one server in my Zimbra infrastructure. I assume this means only one mail server too.

Phone version: Samsung Galaxy S3 Verizon
    OS: Cyanogenmod 10.1.2 Android 4.2.2

I'll upload logging shortly...have to configure it.

    Thanks!

Surprisingly, after deleting the phone through the Zimbra/Zextras admin console and enabling debugging, it seems to be working. I'll monitor it for a day or so and see if I can recreate the problem.

    Thanks!
