    Hi Cine,

yesterday I installed ZeXtras 1.8.6 on my server and now the meetings were synchronized correct with the iPhone and iOS 6.1.3.
    - Outlook user sends meeting invitation
    - iphone user accepts
    - outlook user gets the accept but no message with attachment but just the accept and it is correct listed in the outlook calendar
    - outlook user modifies this meeting
    - iphone user accepts
    - outlook user gets the accept but no message with attachment but just the accept and it is correct listed in the outlook calendar

Will do some tests with my Android 4.2.2 phone and post back - probably in the afternoon.

Great! Feels good if everything seems to work :-)

    Thank you so far!
    Alex

    Hi again,

I could confirm that it is working with Android as it should if I send an email after creating the account on the device.
Further it sends and accepts meetings like it should, no additional attachment or email. Great!

    --- edit ---

    Question:

    Not ZeXtras realted but zimbra:
    - Is it possible to deny/block "accepted" messages of a meeting invitation for just on mail account but allow "denyed" messages to pass to the sender of the invitation?

The intention is that every mobile device user has its own mail account which should be able to "accept" and "deny" messages and the sender wants to get the answer.
But in addition all mobile device users have one and the same calendar on another account. This account is more like "informational" to get all actual meetings but it is not neccessary that they need to send an answer or "Accept" message.

I tried with CalDAV but this does not all the user to "Accept" the meeting and so the meeting is still "grey" and "not accepted" in the calendar.
A more better way would be if the zimbra account just accepts every meeting invitation automatically without interaction of the user.

Hopefully ZeXtras moderators are also zimbra experts ;-)

Small update for all the readers as this is something that has not been discussed publicly yet on this thread:

Due to an Android bug, the calendar app can't send any emails through an Exchange ActiveSync account until an email has been sent through that very same account using the email client app. This is because the outbox of the account is created upon sending the first email with the client app rather than upon account creation.
Since meeting invitations/answers are nothing but an .ics file sent via an "automatic" email, Nachtfalke wasn't able to successfully interact with meeting invitations/responses until he sent an email through the email client app.

    Have a nice day,
    Cine
