    2 Cell Phones but only one syncs

    Hi all,

    I may have found a bug.

    I have a contact who have 4 phone numbers (1 personnal cell, 1 work cell, 1 work and 1 personnal).
    The 2 cell numbers are identified as Cell Phone in Zimbra.

    When it sync to either a LG G4 running android 6 or a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 running android 5.1.1, it only displays 3 phone numbers.
    The G4 uses Mailwise synchronization EAS 14.1 and the Note 4 uses Samsung Activesync implementation EAS 2.5.

    Now, if I change one of the cell phone to "Pager" on Zimbra, all 4 phone numbers syncs perfectly on both phones.

    Hello Marcet!

    What you describe is the default Exchange ActiveSync behaviour for contact synchronization: while Zimbra allows to create multiple entries of the same type (in your case, "Mobile"), the Exchange ActiveSync protocol only syncs a single entry for each type.
    As you found out, a workaround for this is to assign a different, and usually less used, type to the entry

    By the way, is it still necessary to use EAS 2.5 with recent Samsung Phones ?
    What version of EAS do you recommend overall ?
