    Cant setup exchange profile on mobile device

    Hi i just installed zextras suite on my zimbra 8.6.0 community edition server, i enabled the zxmobile for all users but am having issues setting up the exchange account on my ipad

    here are the details of my server

    i have ldap setup pointing towards my ad dc

    hostname tin-exc-1
    mx: mail.tingateitsolutions.com.au
    a record (pointing to my wan ip)

    I have no issues with mail flow or accessing webmail internally or externally and have the following ports open

    25
    443
    110
    993
    143

    all pointing towards the ip of my server

    but when i try to setup the exchange account with the following details

    server: mail.tingateitsolutions.com.au
    domain: tingateit
    username steven

    but when i try to setup it said unable to verify account information
    i have tried multiple accounts, but same error
    i know it is right because i can login to webmail

    Is somebody able to assist ?

    if you need access to my server let me know and i can organise

    Hello stevetingate,
    welcome to the forums!

    It looks like the domain part of the configuration might not be correct, could you please try entering your email domain?
    Also, I see that port 80 is not included among the ones you listed as open, so make sure you have the SSL option enabled when creating the account.

    If this doesn't help, please send your sync.log and mailbox.log to community@zextras.com, stating your Zimbra and ZeXtras Suite versions aswell as described on the "How to report a ZeXtras Suite issue" guide...

    sorry to add that in i also have port 80 open

    my ad domain name name is tingateitsolutions.local so i tried that but it still didnt like it

    wheere can i find my sync.log and mailbox.log ?

    You can find the sync.log and mailbox.log files in /opt/zimbra/log/

    Hi stevetingate,

    your problem is on the domain part, unlike exchange, with zimbra/zextras the "domain" is the whole string after the "@", so in your case you need to set:

    Code:
    server: mail.tingateitsolutions.com.au
    domain: tingateitsolutions.com.au
    username steven
