Disable " Failed attempts Allowed" Feature without disabling the password requirement

How can I disable this feature? is inserting a 0 here will disable the feature? I'm kind of afraid to put this in case it instantly wipe a device.

    Thanks

    Hello cmaltais!
Welcome to the forums and sorry for the late response...

According to protocol specifications, the field you mention can be either set to an integer value between 4 and 16 or left empty: in the latter case, the feature is disabled.
Compliance to this feature, however, is entirely device driven, so it's possible that some devices will simply ignore the wipe command...

    Hello!

We chose not to include such kind of specific information in our docs as those are related to the protocol itself and thus freely available on the internet.
On top of this, the vast majority of MDM-related features are device driven, so it's always better to refer to the devices' docs and online resources...
