    ZeXtras 2 not synchronising with ZCS 8.6 server.

    Hi

    I'm having a problem with the current new release of ZeXtras 2 and my ZCS 8.6 (P1) server not synchronising anything at all. The previous version worked flawlessly.

    I'm currently using Nitrodesk (now Symantec) Touchdown 8.5.00094 on a OnePlus One running Cyanogen OS (Android Lollipop 5.0.2). I tried update to the latest ZeXtras 2 and when I do a check for available EAS versions it seems to get all the correct versions but also says that "Policies are not set" (the previous ZeXtras said "Policies are set"). Changing the EAS version in Touchdown did seem to get a list of items to sync (I have a ZeXtras log file) but that was it, neither the automatic or manual sync worked.

    I know it's not supported but I did downgrade to the previous version and that is working without problems. I have a log file from a sync of both of those versions of ZeXtras, if you need me to send them or any further information just let me know.

    Feel free to send the logs to community@zextras.com, I'll have a look at those together with the devs as soon as possible...
    Also, could you please let me know if MDM (provisioning) is enabled and if so which specific options?

    The cause of the issue has been found, we're going to release ZeXtras Suite 2.0.1 in a few hours which includes this fix along with a couple more...

    Just a quick update, unfortunately the same problem exists with this version. There is the proviso that downgrading the EAS version to 12.0 still allows push synch without problems but upgrading EAS to 12.1, 14.0 or 14.1 still produces the error "Policies: not initialized" and with EAS 12.0 it show "Policies: None". Obviously I'm not without mail synch at the moment so do you need any further information/logs for this problem?

    A further update.

    Just checking the Admin page and it actually shows that the EAS version being used is 2.5 not the EAS 12.0 that is configured as the maximum and also shows in the ActiveSync settings test on my phone.

    Hello Bill!

    Protocol version cannot be changed effectively on the fly, did you try removing the account from the device and the appropriate entry from the device list in ZxMobile and creating it again from scratch?
    Please also add a "debug" account logger after removing the account&entry and before adding it again so that if needed we'll be able to watch the full log of first sync...
