    Sync outlook 2013

    Good morning all !

    In the last few days, my company decided to use zimbra with ZeXtras for sync mailbox/calendar and other with outlook and smartphone, but for one mailbox sync (with outlook) don't work.

    But a lot of mail are not sync ..

    I do not understand why there was this problem on a single box.

    Edit 03/04/2015 :

    Master server spec : Intel xeon E3 1225v2, 16Gb RAM and 2Tb storage
    Virtual server : 1core, 4Gb RAM and 256Gb storage
    Zimbra version : 8.6.0_GA_1153.FOSS
    ZeXtras version : 1.10.3
    OS : Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS
    1 serveur and 5 Mailbox
    Problem : Impossible to sync all mail on one mailbox, with outlook 2013 on Win7/Win8
    How : When we start the first sync (add account in outlook) a lot of mail was not sync with outlook 2013 but it's work with an Iphone 6.

    In the server, when this outlook is turn on, java use 95% of the processor. Normally java use 10% of the processor.

    Hello cguerin,
    welcome to the forums!

    Unfortunately Outlook 2013 is not known as the best Exchange ActiveSync client around, and the situation you describe is quite common... Could you please report the info mentioned in section 3.1 and 3.7 of the "How to report a ZeXtras Suite issue" guide and send me (community@zextras.com) a "debug" level Account Logger file?

    Hello cguerin!

    I've just got a feedback from the devs: it looks like your issue is caused by an OutofMemory error that affected the sync of multiple emails (36 in the log you sent).

    While ZeXtras Suite 2.0 will better handle this kind of cases, there is a workaround that should greatly help: lowering the WindowSize property to reduce the number of items that are sent in each connection, hence reducing the number of emails and the memory consuption.
    You can do so by running
    Code:
    zxsuite mobile setPropertyZxMobile_WindowSizeLimit 10
    as the 'zimbra' user.

    Also, make sure that Zimbra's Heap Size is proportionate to the amount of RAM on your server and, in case you are running on a virtualized environment, make sure that there are no memory usage limitations set in the hypervisor.

    I have an other problem with the oulook sync, decidedly ...
    One account can not connected to the server (Disconnecting), but other account with the same configuration can connect to the server.
    I try with two different computer (Windows 8.1) with Outlook 2013.

    How : When we want to connect with outlook to the Zimbra server, Outlook can not connected to the server.
