    Contact Sync loop under Android 5.0.2 with Nine

    Hello,
    i have several users including myself, where the following setup works flawless for every sync. But of course, i have one user, where the setup does not work.
    Nine was used since lollipop had no native client anymore for activesync and gmail wasn't at all working.

    Zimbra Version 8.6.0
    Zextras Version 1.10.2

    Android Nexus 4/5/10 (5.0.2) with Nine as the client SW.
    Syncing of mail, contacts and even tasks works great, even multiple calendars in the own account gets synced.

    But for this one user, the contacts don't show up. Everything else works.

    No error in mailbox.log is showing up.

    Account Log is created, just waiting for someone to look at them.

    I use my Nextus 5 stock gmail app in activesync without any issue (like many users)... Any errors in sync.log?

    The mailbox.log file is important for mailbox related operations but main logfile for zxmobile module is sync.log.
    My guess is that a specific entry on that user's addresbook have an invalid value or not supported by the phone.

    Hello,
    thanks for the quick reply, mail is on its way with the log.
    sync.log also shows no errors.
    The debug logs just shows me, that it tries to sync the same accounts again and again.

    The phone loops on "Added items: [272, 289, 274, 290, 275, 291, 276, 285]" on Contacts folder, so I can suggest you to temporary move, one by one that contacts on trash, only to see when the sync finish and what specific item has a problem. How many contacts the user have?
    You can also add the "window_size 1" option to your account logger command to force the phone to sync items only one by one.
