    Question Contacts not synching

    Hello:

    have migrated servers this weekend and one client, whom is using an iPhone 5, cannot sync all their contacts. Have checked in the ZWC and see ~100 contacts but if I reset the device and clear active sessions only 25 contacts are synced. How can one force a full re-sync.

    Hello Innovot!

    A full re-sync can be forced as follows:
    - Delete the Exchange ActiveSync account from the phone
    - Delete the appropriate entries from both the "Active Sessions" and "Registered Devices" lists in the ZxMobile section of the ZeXtras Administration Zimlet

    Before creating the account again, please add a debug-level AccountLogger as described here so that our team will be able to investigate the cause of the issue in case the re-sync isn't enough.

    Hi Cine:

    Tried that and it did not work, but what did in the end was as zimbra running 'zxsuite mobile doResetDevice .......' then all sprung into life.

    Appreciate the response.

    Hello Innovot,
    glad this was sorted out!

    For future reference, some devices might keep EAS sync information in a cache so restarting the phone after the two steps I mentioned before ensures no cache gets in the way...
