    cant access chat with pidgin xmpp client

    Hi all.
    I canīt access chat with pidgin xmpp client. Chat foud ok by web but canīt acces via pc xmpp client or android xmpp client.
    I have zimbra 8.05 NE , and zextras suite 1.8.14.
    Is necesari enable something or disable something.
    Where can i see debug log.
    zchat is running and enable.

    Hello adelmoral!

    XMPP access is enabled by default in ZeXtras Chat, so my suggestion is to check your network/firewall settings to make sure that the service is correctly bound to ports 5222 and 5223 of the server and that traffic is correctly routed/NATed to such ports.

    You can enable ZeXtras Chat logging by running
    Code:
    zxsuite chat setProperty ZxChat_LogEnabled true
    as the Zimbra user. All chat and system messages will be logged in /opt/zimbra/log/zxchat.log.

    I enable Zxchat log. Zxchat.log but not appear anything.

    Hi .
    I tested port at localhost
    lsof -P -n -i :5222
    But not respose anything, but webmail chat found very fine !!

    Is there any error/exception in the mailbox.log file during service startup? Also, could you please post the output of the following command?

    Hi,

    Same here. Java is listening on port 5222, no error on log file, all service started and port opened on firewall.

    ZxChat Chat (on Zimbra webmail) say that server isn't started...

    Which debug can we activate to check why this hapened ?
