    copy&paste, conversation history, using multiple workplace

    Many thanks for zimbra chat. is realy rescue situation of this functionality in zimbra8.

    After some day using this zimlet, i find what do not works properly.
    1. Copy&paste not worked....
    2. i dont see conversation history
    3. and when i connect to my mailbox form other device, already opened on my home PC, browser on PC close session, and crashed with error message.....

    i read about future xmpp protocol support, it's great and i'm waiting....

    First of all, thank you for your kind words

    About the issues you are experiencing, the conversation history is saved in the "Chats" folder of each mailbox - the following search query will allow you to see its contents since it's not shown anymore in Zimbra 8:

    Regarding the copy/paste and the client concurrency issues, in order to better identify the problem I'd need to know:

    - Your Zimbra version
    - Your ZeXtras Suite version
    - Your ZeXtras Chat Zimlet version
    - Your browser's name and version

    i have last version of ZCS open source edition 8.0.1 GA
    UBUNTU server 10.04 LTS
    ZeXtras suite version: 1.6.4
    chat Version: 0.92

    Browser is ie9, also may be is Firefox latest version..

    Your ZeXtras Chat Zimlet version is a bit outdated, i strongly suggest you to update your ZeXtras Chat Zimlet to the latest available version (0.95) and try again... Many issues have been resolved since 0.92...

    good news, all issues in this topic was solved with new version 0.95
    and now i can
    copy&paste (only with ctrl+v/c key combination)
    seeing conversation history
    concurrency entrance from other devices in one mailbox

    and some other issues....
    After install zextras suite, i was received mail notification such as:
    1. ZeXtras ZxBackup Notification, Smart Scan started
    2. ZeXtras ZxBackup Notification, Smart Scan interrupted
    3. This is an automated notification from ZeXtras Suite.


    A new version of the ZeXtras Suite package is available at http://www.zextras.com .
    We strongly raccomend an update to the latest version.
    You can see the changelog at Changelog - ZeXtras Suite Wiki .

    See below for extended information.

    Installed Version: 1.6.4

    how i can disable this notification.
    I don't use backup functionaly, and i use latest version of zextras suite 1.6.4, or this version not latest?

    Glad the update fixed your issues...

    About the new version notification, there was an issue in the Update Checker webservice. The issue has been fixed and you should not receive the wrong update notification.

    Regarding the Smartscan notification, you need to disable the Scan operation scheduling if you don't want ZeXtras Backup to start a nightly Smartscan or Fullscan. To do so, enter the ZxBackup tab of the ZeXtras Administration Zimlet and uncheck the "Enable Scan operation Scheduling" checkbox.

    i installed only zextras suite without any zimlets.....
    can i disable smartscan from cli?

    The ZeXtras Administration Zimlet is automatically installed when running the installer with the "all" option and it's a very important component of ZeXtras Suite, I strongly suggest you to install it.

    Did you install ZeXtras Suite running the installer with the "core" option? If so, re-running the installer with the "zimlet" option (e.g. ./install.sh zimlet) will install the proper ZeXtras Administration Zimlet for your Zimbra version. No restart or downtime of any sort is needed.

    Anyway, the CLI command to disable the Scan Operation Scheduling is:

    zxsuite backup setProperty ZxBackup_FullScanSchedulingEnabled false

    i use cli command, and its worked...
    but i dont find this command in wiki pages ):
    Also you declare on wiki latest version of zchat is 0.92 - it wrong ):
    wiki is degrade documentation with yours perfect products (:

    The "getProperty" and "setProperty" commands are listed in the ZeXtras CLI wiki page at ZeXtras CLI - ZeXtras Suite Wiki (first two rows of the table)...

    Regarding the ZxChat Zimlet version, my bad
