zxChat buddy list sidebar hidden on ZCS 8.6 (version 1.32 and 1.35)

Dear diary,

Until today, we used to be happy with zxChat 1.32 on our 8.6 ZCS server, but today one of my users hid his buddy list in the sidebar.
The buddy list disappeared, the sidebar won't display and i have no option to make it reappear from the admin console.

What i have tried :
- opening the account on other browsers (chrome, firefox)
- clearing the zxChat zimlet cache
- clearing the browser cache
- uninstalling and reinstalling the zimlet and clearing both the zimlet and browser cache
- uninstalling 1.32 and installing 1.35 and clearing both the zimlet and browser cache

None of it works. The sidebar does not show, and i cannot retrieve the main zxChat window.

I have some shameful news.

Disabling AdBlockPlus solved the sidebar disappearing issue on chrome and firefox.
Although the "ads blocked" counter is not incremented, which leads me to believe that something is not quite right here.
Still it should have been obvious before i posted.

Anyway i have instructed my users not to use the sidebar function, as it is incompatible with their ad blocker.

The ZeXtras Chat Zimlet in sidebar mode use a space called "td_sidebar_ad".
In ancient times, Yahoo! used that space to display some Ads.

We have done many tests, and the only way to reproduce the issue is to manually add an AdBlock rule for a div called "td_sidebar_ad".
In your settings do You have a role like this?

We have no custom ruling, but the french ad list (Liste FR+EasyList) is automatically installed during ABP setup.
That list may contain something different from what you have.

We keep ABP simple and clean, as installed from these pages :

I have checked, and the issues presents on a fresh browser install with fresh ABP.

After testing my theory, the "Liste FR+EasyList" list actually blocks the sidebar, and the sidebar works with that list disabled.
Pity though, as it is the default list on a fresh ABP install on french browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Maxthon etc.)

After digging into the FR Easy List from AdBlock (I found it here) I can see that the list contains these two rules:

###skin_container_sidebar_ad
###skin_td_sidebar_ad

Which blocks the correct visualization.

For these cases please report the issue to the maintainer of the extension following the steps which can be found in the user guide.
Anyway, We will try to submit the issue for you.
