    critical error

    Hi
    y starting to my webmail zimbra 8.5 zextrat_chat guive me an crititcal error: An error was detected during the session.
    Do you wish to submit all of this sessions error reports to ZeXtras for product improvement?
    I need help to resolve it please . I use the latest version of zextrat zimlet
    thank!

    Hi sansan,

    without a screenshot or a specific error is very difficult to try to help you... but the tipical problem with this type of error often could be the missing of zextras core chat service.
    • Did you install the ZeXtras Suite on all your mailbox servers?
    • Is the Chat module enabled?
    • Do you have some errors in your javascript console?

    Hello Cine,

    I have detected the error in Chrome and Firefox.
    Replicate the fault with "?dev=1" is not possible because it is a random error.
    I tried to replicate it but it has not been possible.

    Hello luisro!

    If the issues does not appear in Dev Mode there's a high change for it to be caused by a cache issue...

    Could you please:
    - Clear your server's cache by running `zmprov fc all` as the zimbra user.
    - Restart the mailboxd service by running `zmmailboxdctl restart`
    - Clear your browser's cache and retry

    Unfortunately errors displayed when not in Dev Mode don't help us identifying the issue, as normally all Zimlets' code is unified and minified while in Dev Mode all zimlets are loaded separately and thus errors are directly referenced to the Zimlet causing it... Should you manage to reproduce the issue in Dev Mode please send the full error text to community@zextras.com.

    Hello Cine,

    I managed to reproduce the error, always happens when you remove a contact while an email is drawn.
    If I disable ZeXtras Chat the problem disappears.

    Hello luisro!

    I'm glad to inform you that we found the cause of the issue: it looks like a small and inconsequential Zimbra Web Client error is detected by the ZeXtras Chat Zimlet as its own and reported to the user...
    The Dev Team is running a full investigation about other possible similar cases, and the fix will be released soon with version 1.30 of the ZeXtras Chat Zimlet.
