    ZxBackup Import too slow

    Hello every one,

I have a problem with ZxBackup. I import data backup to newest Zimbra server.
    Account ~ 21000
    Data ~ 300Gb.
But import 11000 account takes 4 days and 10000 account continuous.... This is too slow. How to speed up for ZxBackup Import faster?
My server: CPU: 4 core, RAM 8Gb, HDD: Sata.

Hi hongphukt and wellcome to our forums.

IMHO, your hardware infrastructure seems to be undersized for your case. Especially, the storage appears to be the bottleneck for the import process.

The ZxBackup module is designed to leave your zimbra server operational during the restore process, so you can use the new server right after user the provisioning phase, so check this guide to minimize the downtime.

    Have a nice week-end.

    Thansk your support,
I'm using "http://wiki.zextras.com/wiki/ZxBackup:_Incremental_migration_with_ZeXtras_Backu p" guide for migration Zimbra server.
I think so too, hoping after i change storage appears (e.g SAN) "Step 7 : The Switch" faster than.
Can you calculator in my case Step 7 take how many time?
