    throttle zxbackup error messages?

Is it possible to somehow throttle zxbackup's messages in log/mailbox.log?
Something like syslog does, "last message repeated NNN times" ?

    Code:
2014-01-19 19:43:39,463 WARN [ZxBackup Thread] [] extensions - Unknown exception: Error read JSON file: /mail-backup/zm-mbox-01/server/backup_04_01_14#07_43_34

    Hello stsimb!

I just discussed the possibility of adding a log control system in ZeXtras Suite with the R&D team, but it was turned down as it's not possible to perform "in-app" operations on the logs.

In this particular case, however, the excessive number of log lines was caused by a ZeXtras Backup bug that will be solved in the next ZeXtras Suite release.

The issue reported in the log is usually caused by either bad permissions in ZxBackup's backup path or by storage unavailability: in both cases, I'd suggest you to try accessing the file reported in the logs as the 'zimbra' with the 'less' utility and check your storage's health status. If the file is accessible and the storage is properly set up, please send me the file mentioned in the log along with some details about your storage (physical drives, raid setup, filesystem...)

    Have a nice day,
    Cine

The file mentioned in the logs is available in the filesystem now, but I didn't check at the time of the problem because I wanted to give the service back as soon as possible.
It resides on an NFS share, so some network hickup could have caused some problem in the path, but I did not check at the time.

Nevertheless, if the ZxBackup bug is resolved in 1.8.13, then there is no need for any other remedy for this problem.

    Thanks for your reply!
