Hi gitservice and welcome to the forums.
The problem seems to be related to the memory of your system, can you provide more information about your environment?
    - Zimbra and ZeXtras versions
    - Hardware detail: architecture, ram and CPUs.
    - Number of users

It's a virtual machine with 2xCpu and 4GB ram. I tried to give it 8GB ram but the result is the same.
I have about 30 users and they're in different cos'. I've only enabled backup for the default cos and that has only system users with no data.

    Regards,
    Jens

    Hello Jens,

looks like the memory reserved for the Java Heap is not enough... The devs are inspecting the code to check if there is any possible software cause, I'll keep you up to date!

    Have a nice day,
    Cine

    Hello Jens,

small update on this matter: The devs have doublechecked the code and couldn't find any software cause for this issue. However, I just recently had another couple of reports about this error and both were related to data corruption, so I suggest you to run a filesystem check (a read-only check should suffice, so you can avoid downtime) to make sure that there is no corrupted data neither in the Zimbra store(s) nor in ZeXtras' backup path.

    Have a nice day,
    Cine
