I thought you were going to restore the data without the extra zimlet/ldap modifications...

I'll have the devs prepare you a patched package for your specific case, should be ready shortly

    Have a nice day,

I needed the ldap mods and zimlets anyway, I thought that if I would do it before the restore
we might see that accounts even get the same uids.
Anyway, I hope to see it working with your patched package.
    Thanks again,

    Perry

    zmmailboxdctl down

After a fullscan, restore and smartscan I try to start another restore and the Zimbra mailbox
    does not start anymore.

    Hello Perry,

in order to start the import phase of a migration from scratch you should delete all accounts, domains and classes of service from your Zimbra server via the ZeXtras Administration Zimlet or creating a bash script that calls the zmprov utility - I can provide you a sample script for this so that you can adapt it to your needs.

Deleting the /opt/zimbra/store folder is to be avoided, as you'd only delete the data leaving "orphaned" entries in Zimbra's database. The /opt/zimbra/backup/zextras/ does not need to be deleted, you just need to change the backup path to a new folder in which the "zimbra" user has r/w permissions (you can leave the ZxBackup module uninitialized).

    Have a nice day,
    Cine

    Hi Cine,
I suppose you mean deleting accounts, domains and cos thru the Zimbra Administration GUI ?
Or did you guys create an Administration Zimlet ?
    Thanks,
    Perry

At the end of the restore of the fullScan with Zextras 1.4.2 we get the following fatal error:

Is this one of the bug fixes in Zextras 1.4.3 ?

    Thanks,

    Hi Perry.

Your problem seems to be related to your previous interrupted import.
Maybe the previous error during the "data source" restore had corrupted the map file, so every subsequent imports fails.
All devs now are focused on the Zimbra 8 compatibility, but I hope to investigate about this issue tomorrow.
