    Incremental migration question

Hi everybody, on next week we will be performing an incremental migration to a brand new Zimbra 8.7 server.
The wiki article is clear, but we still have one question: in step 7 we will perform another import before the DNS switching, but do we have to re-export all data from the source server (so changing the backup path) or can we simply do a smart scan on the source server, then rsync the backup folder with the one already copied in the destination server in step 4? Summarizing, is it ok to do smart scan -> rsync -> doExternalRestore?

    Hello Cinmar!

No need to re-export your data, the Incremental Migration technique is specifically based on SmartScans to make it as fast and easy as possible!

Thanks Cine, we'll save some hours

We are running the "pre-flight" checks, but we suddenly received an error with zmblobchk:

    Code:
    zimbra@zimbra:~$ zmblobchk -v start
    Checking mailbox 1.

    Hello Cinmar!

What Zimbra and Zextras Suite version are you running on the source server? This looks like an old issue affecting older 2.4.x releases...

We updated to the last Zextras 2.4.9 before starting these migration operations. Zimbra version is 7.2.7 .

    Hello Cinmar!

That's really strange... Could you please open a ticket on https://support.zextras.com provinding all of your system's info as well as a download link for the mailbox.log file containing the error and the zmmailboxd.out covering the same day?
