    skipped files

    Hi,

I wonder about the meaning of the stats "num skipped files" in the smart scan report.

Here is the report of one of my server:

This is an automated notification from ZeXtras Backup about Smart Scan.

    Operation Smart Scan Completed.

    I/O read exception: 0
    num skipped files: 34724

    additional notification mails:

On my others backed servers the flag "num skipped files" is always 0 so i want to be sure this will not affect a future restore. I didn't find any documentation on it.

    Thanks for your help,

    Regards,

    Michael

    Hello Michael!

An item is marked as "skipped" when there's a reference for it in the database but no BLOB can be found, could you please run a "deep" smartscan (using the Zextras CLI) and let me know if it returns any errors or skipped items?

    Have a nice day,
