    Changing Backup Path

    Hi all,

I need to change the backup path.
Can I do it live ? Or do I have to shutdown the server before ?

    Hello Marcet!

Do you need to start a new backup path or to move the current one to another location? In both cases you won't need to stop the server, but should you need to move the current backup path to another location I suggest to stop the RealTime scanner from the ZxBackup UI, rsync the backup path to its new location, change the Backup Path setting and restart the RealTime Scanner (a SmartScan will be triggered).

    Have a nice day,

Actually I'm changing the NAS receiving the backup.

Thanks a lot for this quick and very clear answer.

    Have a nice day.
