    ZxBackup Operation Purge fails when SmartScan starts (ZeXtras 1.10.1)

    We have a multi-server installation running CentOS 6 x86_64 on 17 Zimbra servers of which 7 are mailbox servers.
    We run Zimbra 8.0.8 OSE and ZeXtras 1.10.1.

    In the last few days, Purge fails on different mailbox servers with the following error.

    I think it may have to do with SmartScan and Backup Server Customizations starting at that particular moment in time?

    Hello again!

    I'm back with some news: the Devs confirmed that the cause of the issue is the filesystem-level corruption of a metadata file, which was probably caused by a NFS connection issue or by an fsck gone wrong.

    This means that the backup is not fully consistent anymore, and right now ZeXtras Backup handles this as a critical error.
    Starting from ZeXtras Suite 1.10.2, however, both the SmartScan and Purge will be updated to better deal with this rare kind of issue by returning more information about the corrupted file and suggesting to manually run a coherency check, and a new "fixCorrupted" option will be added to the coherency check CLI command (`zxsuite backup doCoherencyCheck`) in order to try and fix the issue through or - in the worse case - to move the corrupted item out of the way and restore the backup path's consistency.

    I confirm that with ZeXtras 1.10.2, after a successful run of "doCoherencyCheck" with "fixBackup true", the SmartScan and Purge operations now complete successfully.
