    Hello Adam!

The ZeXtras Migration tool has been around for as long as ZeXtras Suite

The kind of data that it'll migrate is the same specified in post #2 of this thread - global and server config are still not restored, as those are strictly network/OS/arch dependent and might mess up an entire infrastructure if restored on a different server.

Those, however, are saved/exported aswell along with any postfix customization, and can be displayed for consultation through the `zxsuite backup getServerConfig` command:
    Code:
    zimbra@zimbra:~$ zxsuite backup getServerConfig
    command getServerConfig requires more parameters

    Syntax:
       zxsuite backup getServerConfig {standard|customizations} [attr1 value1 [attr2 value2...]]

    PARAMETER LIST

    NAME TYPE EXPECTED VALUES DEFAULT
    type(M) Multiple choice standard|customizations
    date(O) String "dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss"|"last"|"all"
    backup_path(O) Path /opt/zimbra/backup/zextras
file(O) String Path to backup file
    query(O) String type/id/key
    verbose(O) String false
    colors(O) String false

    (M) == mandatory parameter, (O) == optional parameter

    Usage example:

zxsuite backup getserverconfig standard date last
Display a summary of the latest backup data for Server and Global configuration.

zxsuite backup getserverconfig standard date last query /
Display the latest backed up server and global configuration settings.

zxsuite backup getserverconfig standard file /path/to/backup/file
Display the contents of a backup file instead of the current server backup.

zxsuite backup getserverconfig standard date last query zimlets/com_zimbra_ymemoticons colors true verbose true
Displays all settings for the com_zimbra_ymemoticons zimlet, using colored output and high verbosity.
Both ZeXtras Suite and the ZeXtras Migration Tool require Zimbra to be up and running to be functional, so in order to avoid losing any email during the migration I'd suggest to switch the mailflow to the new server before you start your migration. In case of an Incremental Migration, on the other hand, you can safely switch the mailflow during the process as described in the guide.

Ok, I assumed the zxMig was a new addition that was capable of migrating everything. It does actually say "Migrate everything" on the product page, and on the guide in the wiki ("Virtually everything"). Honestly, it would be as easy for me to migrate my users like this. Can I get a refund please?

    Hello Adam!

The method described in the link you mention will only move the data contained in your mailboxes (no domains, classes of service, dlists, aliases and mailbox preferences/properties) and requires either some basic scripting knowledge or the will to manually migrate your users one by one...

However, if you feel that ZeXtras Suite is not the right product for you please get in touch with the Sales Team by opening a support request at http://support.zextras.com including the link to this thread and your OrderID: I'm sure they'll be more than glad to assist you...
