Share email folder doesn't share subfolders

    Hello all,

We've migrated from 7.1.2 on Debian 5 to 8.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

All shared mail folders are present, but without subfolders. If we want to delete and recreate shares, the problem still present. But if we create new accounts and we share folder with subfolders, the problem is not present.

This is only with migrated accounts.

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks in advance !

A quick question: which versions of ZeXtras Suite was installed on the source server?

    Here are new tests :

Tested when a new account share parent folder to old (imported) account : subfolders are visible.
When an old account share parent folder (already existing) to new account : subfolders aren't visible.
With a new folder created by old account and shared with a new account : subfolders visible.

The only difference between old and new folders :

In parent : "flags": "ui" for old, "flags": "i" for newly created folders
In subfolders : no "flag" option in new created subfolders, "flags": "i" in old

I've looked in account params (via zmprov), no differences between an old account.

    Hello Sylv1,
    thanks for the update!

That "i" flag is the problem, as it instructs the subfolder not to inherit any rights from the parent folder, thus preventing the WebClient to show the subfolder due to missing permissions. I need to check with the devs to see why that flag is added, will report back ASAP...

    Hello,

Yes you're right, thats the problem. When i set flag to "u" for parent and its subfolders, all works fine...

    zmmailbox -z -m user@domain.tld mff "/myfolder" u

I'll do the same operation for all migrated folders . Maybe a fix in futures releases of ZeXtras Migration Tool ?

    Cheers,

    Sylvain.

    Hello,
I had a similar problem with the share. Using the version 1.6.0 only the root mail folder was visible but not the subfolders, with the version 1.6.1 i was seeing only 1 subfolders instead of 2.
With version 1.6.2 the same situation for the email share but i have also problem with address book and calendars.

My personal account don't see an address book share from a co-worker, the share exist but i have to re-add manually
We also have a shared calendar with public view, some user have the share mapped while some other user not (but they have on the source server)

I have checked another couple of user and some share work on some users and some share don't work on other users

i wanted to try the command zmmailbox -z -m user@domain.tld mff "/myfolder" u to see if could resolve my problem, but i've not understand how give the parameter /myfolder (i tried various combination with no success) and if there is a way to launch the command for all the shares automatically (especially for the share made by the user that i don't know has been created)

    D.

Just had a migration of a customer yesterday evening and the responsible person at the customer is reporting the described problem with subfolders in shares aswell.

    ZeXtras Version is 1.6.2

So I think I have to get a list of the users and shares with the problem and do

    zmmailbox -z -m user@domain.tld mff "/myfolder" u
