    Hi MercJones.

Zextras extension seams to be installed, to confirm the correct initialization you can check the mailbox.log file in /opt/zimbra/log/ dir for this line:
    Code:
    2012-09-27 23:25:41,669 INFO [main] [] extensions - Starting ZeXtras version 1.4.5 commit 9c69e5f0af36de570cbdf90081a323e3155cb465
    and check the cli:
    [CODE]# su - zimbra
    zxzimbra@mail:~$ zxsuite core getversion

    zextras_version 1.4.5
    zextras_commit 9c69e5f0af36de570cbdf90081a323e3155cb465
    zextras_target 6.0.16[CODE]

If something goes wrong you can try to uninstall and reinstall with the debug option:
    Code:
    ./install -d all
    Keep us updated!

Thanks for the reply, output from the mailbox.log shows:

    2012-10-01 16:51:33,804 INFO [main] [] extensions - Starting ZeXtras version 1.4.5 commit 9c69e5f0af36de570cbdf90081a323e3155cb465

    And the other output is:

    su zimbra
    zimbra@zimbratest1:~/log$ zxsuite core getversion
    CompilerOracle: exclude com/zimbra/cs/session/SessionMap.putAndPrune
    CompilerOracle: exclude com/zimbra/cs/mailbox/MailItem.delete
    CompilerOracle: exclude org/apache/xerces/impl/XMLDocumentFragmentScannerImpl$FragmentContentDisp atcher.dispatch

    zextras_version 1.4.5
    zextras_commit 9c69e5f0af36de570cbdf90081a323e3155cb465
    zextras_target 6.0.16

Do you recommend an uninstall then, or would you like any further information?

    Thanks

I've just totally uninstalled, with the ./install.sh -u all restarted zimbra, and then went through the install again.

Unfortunately I have exactly the same problem, when I load zimbra admin, it says about the core missing.

    Any suggestions guys?

    Thanks

Hi, I'm kral, one of the ZeXtras developer.

Can you please access to the admin using the option ?dev=1? (es. https://example.com:7071?dev=1)
This will force the administration interface to load the last version of the zimlet.

If the problem still persist, you should take a look to the mailbox.log searching for any errors that may have occurred and post them here.

    Thank you.

    Hi Kral,

I tried that, with the dev=1 bit, it loaded exactly the same from what I could see, i couldnt see anything on the left hand side to do with ZeXtras.

Also, i've pastebin'd the log files:

    2012-10-02 00:00:06,531 INFO [btpool0-1://localhost:7071/service/admin/soap/Aut - Pastebin.com

    Hi MercJones,

we can not reproduce your problem, however we are about to release a new version 1.6.1, so stay tuned!

Your problem seems to be limited to the zextras zimlets should contact zimbra with requests like this:
    Code:
    2012-10-04 15:40:19,078 INFO [btpool0-184://<SERVER>:7071/service/admin/soap/zextras] [name=admin@<DOMAIN>;mid=1;ip=<IP>;ua=ZimbraWebClient - GC22 (Linux);] soap - zextras
    2012-10-04 15:40:19,080 INFO [btpool0-184://<SERVER>:7071/service/admin/soap/zextras] [name=admin@<DOMAIN>;mid=1;ip=<IP>;ua=ZimbraWebClient - GC22 (Linux);] extensions - ZeXtras API Manager: Exec: ZxCore/getVersion
The weird thing is that I don't find any trace of these requests in your log, maybe there is some special customization on your server. The only thing you can do to understand what's happening is to use a debugging tool (firebug for firefox or developer tools in chrome) to analyze any javascript errors or incorrect post/soap requests.
