    Cannot run migration process after uninstall zextras backup suite!

    Hi,

    I'm trying to migrate my old zimbra server to new server using Zextras Migration Tool. Before that, I have Zextras Backup Suite installed in my old zimbra server. After uninstall Zextras backup suite and install zextras migration tools. Migration process not run. "Request ignored since module ZxBackup is not running". I already trying to clear cache on both server and web browser client, not solve the problem. Any body knows? Many thanks.

    Hello Octopuz!

    Did you uninstall ZeXtras Suite completely running `./install.sh -u all`? Which ZeXtras Suite and ZeXtras Migration Tool versions did you use?

    Hi Cine..

    Absolutely yes! I did uninstall process using command './install.sh -u all' and after that, I invoke command 'zmprov fc -a zimlet' as zimbra user to clear server cache! I'm using version 2.2.4 both of Zextras Suite and Zextras Migration.

    Hello,

    Same issue here. I want to migrate from 8.6 (Ubuntu 14.04) to 8.7 (Ubuntu 16.04). I have ZxMobile license, but no ZxBackup.
    When I tried to install ZeXtras Migration Tool, I got the following message:

    "You have components of ZeXtras Suite installed on your system.
    Please remove them before installing ZeXtras Migration Tool.
    "

    After I uninstalled ZeXtras Suite 2.2.5, I was able to install ZeXtras Migration Tool 2.2.5 without any problem.

    But, when I start migration process in the admin console (Destination added, Selected All mailbox), I run into the "Request ignored since module ZxBackup is not running" error message.
    Server and browser cache cleared...

    What's next?

    Thank you for the info.
    A little side note for the Dev Team: I have no ZxBackup license, but I used ZxBackup in trial mode once on my current Zimbra 8.6, when I migrated from 12.04 to 14.04 a few years ago.

    I really need to migrate my clients to the new Zimbra server, so I'm thinking about to do it with ZxBackup. Is there a way to turn on Zextras Suite trial? If I remove the existing ZxMobile license, or other way? Or can I get a ZxBackup key which is valid only for 3 days or something?

    I have the same issue. Has this ever been solved?

    Had Zextras suite installed. Uninstalled with "./install.sh -u all" ....afterwards installed zxmig....and the error described above appears.

    Please help.

    Could you please try again adding -d option,

    Uninstall the suite
    Code:
    ./install.sh -u -d all
    Install the zxmig
    Code:
    ./install.sh -d all
    and open a support request at ZeXtras Support Portal entering the same title as this thread's and including the full output of the installer?
