    Import from backup

    I have imported user accounts and emails from backup source to a new server and all went well using zextras suite. I have received notification stated " Information: ZeXtras ZxBackup Notification, External Restore running. " from zxnotifications that it is in "running" state. Do i have to wait till i receive notifications that it is finished?

    Since the admin emails are restored in the new server, i tried login but to no avail. Maybe it's not finished yet?

    welcome to the forums!

    Account creation is the last part of the first step of the restore, and when it's over the "Running" notification is sent: thus, your accounts should be fully accessible...

    In order to better understand what's going on I'd like more information, such as:
    * Zimbra and ZeXtras Suite version running on both the Source and Destination servers.
    * Is this a migration (one-shot or incremental?) or a Disaster Recovery?
    * Did you have Active Directory authentication set up on the source server?
    * Is an error displayed in the mailbox.log file when trying to access a mailbox?
    * Does delegated authentication (a.k.a "View Mail") work on the new server?

    My old server is running zimbra 7.2.7 and the new one is running 8.6.0 with latest patch.
    My old server is installed ZxMig 2.2.3 and in my new server I've installed Zextras Suite 2.2.3

    I dont know. I just imported the backup from the old server by clicking the import button in the new server. No error shown and I got notification that it is running. I think it is incremental.

    Does the login should match with the domain? The new server has different domain.

    Hello Zamri!

    I see you are accessing using just the "username" (not the full email address): if you changed your default domain or your virtual hosts during the migration you'll need to access the server with the full email address or change your default domain/vhosts settings accordingly... Did you try accessing using the full email address?
