migration zimbra 7.1.4 to 8.6.0 and synchronize

    Dears,

Use the ZXmig tool to carry out the export of the 7.1.4 server data and imported data using ZxBackup tool to the new server 8.6.0.
I had a problem that the export took about 7 days ... and the new server has this time difference.
The 7.1.4 server is still in production I did not have can make that happen on the same day ...
My question is: Is there any method and how to synchronize the production server messages with this new server in order to let the new operating server without loss of messages ....
if anyone can help me with details and therefore do not understand Zimbra and was destined for this mission.
    Thank you,

    Hello rpoloni,
    welcome to the forums!

I think that the "Incremental Migration" suits your needs much better than the one-shot migration: feel free to have a look at this step-by-step guide and post here for any need!

It is necessary stop Postfix to perform this operation? for I am confused when I understand he's doing a backup of the entire source server, right? Then I have to get this folder and copy it to the destination server and then perform the rsync ... correct? Quam in time I'll get to the turn of the old server to the new lossless message?

    Hello rpoloni!

Neither ZeXtras Suite nor the ZeXtras Migration Tool require any service to be stopped: the Incremental Migration process is specifically designed to take full advantage of ZxBackup's Realtime Scanner to avoid any service interruption. Simply rsync the source server's Backup Path to a directory in the destination server as many times as you want and run as many imports as you want (see section 5.2 of the guide I linked, "Step 7: The Switch" for specific information about this step).

I appreciate the enormous help, the server is already migrated and working perfectly, but by following the step 8, the link: https://wiki.zextras.com/wiki/ZxBack...ZeXtras_Backup received messages below. how do I fix?

    ZEAccount galsync@mydomain:
Folder '/_InternalGAL' is shared to 591686f1-a309-45e9-b025-606b7593c835(unknown name). However, this account doesn't exist.

    ZEAccount lrodrigues@mydomain:
Mountpoint '/Sidnei A. Souza's Porta-arquivos' links to 16/aeb42265-ef5a-4492-8232-40a8dd1fa2e9(unknown name) but the destination account doesn't exist.
Mountpoint '/PRONTO ATENDIMENTO' links to 9343/251300ed-c83f-4ebc-a15f-ce99ba06adfb(unknown name) but the destination account doesn't exist.

    Hello rpoloni!

The `zxsuite backup doFixShares` command will parse the import mapfile used as the first argument and fix any broken share - mapfiles can be found in the Backup Path of the destination server as "map_[source_serverID]".

I've added this info to the guide as well, thank you for the heads-up

    Cine,
Thanks again for the help, but the return log command was: Nothing done.

Any idea? the command that was typed: cd /opt/zimbra/backup/zextras and then
    zxsuite backup doFixShares map_d3573077-8fe2-4d35-978e-bdad300dfbe8

This command I run on the server that has been migrated or the server that was the old production?

    Hello rpoloni!

The command must be ran on the Destination server, entering the mapfile that has the source server's ID in the name...

I see that one of the share errors is about the galsync account, did you skip the restore of system accounts?

Perfect. I ran the command on the target server (the server that is now already migrated).

Exactly, I ignored the migration of System accounts, there is something that can be done, or I will not have impact on the environment?

    Hello rpoloni!

No impact at all, as step 9 of the guide takes care of GalSync... Same thing for the "lrodrigues" part of the error, if those shares pointed to a system account it's perfectly normal to see that error and it won't affect the system
