export/migration to NE?

Hi,

I see in the migration FAQ that (based on a different thread in this forum), the Migration tool supports NE. However, as the migration tool can only export and not import, it's needed to install the entire suite on the "receiver" server. This won't install on Zimbra Network Edition, unless you explicitly uncomment the check in the installer.

In that same thread, I see mention of config file corruption etc. Does anyone have experience with importing to NE?

Is it doable? Or should I use other tools? If so, is there anything that does the same thing as Zextras migration tool?

Hi Frank, and welcome to the forums!

As you correctly said HERE, ZeXtras Suite 1.2.x can't be installed on a Zimbra Network Edition due to some compatibility troubles that could rise between the ZeXtras Mobile module and the Zimbra NE's own mobile feature.
We are currently performing additional tests, and will probably remove this limitation from version 1.2.3.

Our dev team are waiting to release version 1.2.3 due to some little issue on new improvements.

I hope that will be released Monday, but if not, and if you have urgent need to migrate.... Cine will surely help you.

It's starting to get urgent, would really want to do test-run tomorrow, and then real migration later next week..
