    Hi d0s0n,

I'm having the same issue, what would be a reasonable value for IO w/s r/s ?

    My values:

    Migrate information.

    Hi,

I'm trying to migrate but the "export" process it's very slow (about 12 hours to export 60 GB and there's about 400 gb).
Looks like there's a read issue on the old server.

It's possible only to migrate domains/users information ?
What happens if I try to import a backup but the domains and users already exists on the "new" server and have information ?

    Thanks.

    Hello agd!

(Sorry for the late response, I moved your previous post to the new thread you opened so that it'll be easier to read)

Unfortunately there are no reference values when it comes to I/O performances, as it all depends on your storage's type, technology, usage and so on... The only thing I can say for sure is that 400gb of Zimbra data will usually return a much smaller migration dataset, around 150gb on optimal conditions.
What kind of storage are you exporting your data to? Is it being used by other servers/VMs? Could you please let "iostat -xm 1" run for 8-10 seconds and post the results?

    About your other questions:

    - It's not possible to only export domain/COS/user information, but it's possible to only import such information by performing a "Provisioning Only" restore: this is a CLI-only option, more information about it can be obtained by running "zxsuite backup doExternalRestore" without any argument.

    - Importing existing domans/COS/users won't stop the process, and items that have previously been imported from the same server with ZeXtras Backup will be simply skipped as long as the mapfiles created by the External Restore in the destination server - whose name begins with "map_" and are created in /opt/zimbra/backup/zextras/ by default - are not deleted or tampered with.

    Hi Cine !

    Thanks for your reply.

The problem is that I'm having a very poor read performance on the production server, so my idea was to export only users, then move to production the new server with only accounts information and finally export user data from the old server but already having the new server online.

    Best regards,
    Andres.
