Hello ppdeonet,
Has the core correctly been uninstalled?
If so, please try to manually start the mailboxd service and uninstall the ZeXtras Administration Zimlet with the `./install.sh -u zimlet` command.
Have a nice day,

Hi Cine,
Yes, core has been uninstalled correctly but whatever I try
mailboxd will not start and subsequently it's not possible to uninstall ZXMig zimlet.
Cine,
On the production mail server (on the network) I'm able to uninstall ZxMig, might be that network is required to run mailboxd.

Nothing at all.
Maybe some other log that I could check ?
Network connection is not needed per-se as long as the server can resolve its own hostname correctly (and since the LDAP service started I'm pretty positive anything is ok on that side)
I see from your other post (ref. HERE) that this is a mirror copy of your current server...
Are there any hardware differences between the two servers?
Differences in the quantity of RAM, for example, might cause similar problems because the quantity of RAM dedicated to Zimbra's Java processes is set during installation - in this case you'll have to edit Zimbra's config (I'll have a look at the exaxt changes to be made if this is your case).
[EDIT: my faulty memory just remembered me that /opt/zimbra/log/zmmailboxd.out might have some useful informations]

Seems like you are close to solving this one as well,
there is indeed a difference in quantity of RAM, actually the hardware that I'm running the mirror copy on is completely
different from the production Zimbra server.
tail -f /opt/zimbra/log/zmmailboxd.out
Error occured during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap.
I found a couple of useful links about your issue: 'zmmailboxdctl is not running' - Zimbra :: Forums and Ajcody-Server-Topics - Zimbra :: Wiki
