    Adding Zimbra Users

    Hello,
What happens if I have 50 users on my Zimbra install, purchase a zExtras licence for 50 users, then need to add 10 additional users? Does the Zextras functionality continue to work for the 50 users and not for the additional ones?

    Please explain how this works.

    Thanks,
    SGiacinto

Hi SGiacinto and welcome to the forums.

When you'll need more users, more modules or more time, you'll simply upgrade your license.

I just tested this with my setup and got this not

This is an automated notification from ZeXtras Suite.

The number of users on the system has exceeded the limit allowed by your license.
Because of this, all the ZeXtras Suite paid modules will be forcibly disabled.
The ZeXtras Chat and any other free feature won't be affected.
We suggest to delete some unneeded users or contact your local reseller.

    See below for extended information.

Number of Users on the system: 13
Number of Users allowed by your license: 11
the problem was that after deleting the users is that I had to restart zimbra to get zextras to notice that I had less accounts.

AFAIK, the count is done every 15 minutes, during the license check.
